A word from Tim, the 'Daedric' costume creator:
Man inside the suit is Tim Carroll. The idea came from the video game Skyrim and is a character called Daedric. The suit is built from sheets of craft foam purchased from Hobby stores. Thicknesses range from 1/2" to 1/16". The foam is heated and bent into desired shape then cut and glued with 3M 1357 to form the armor. Then it is coated with plastidip to seal the foam and for a flat black finish. Then it is spot paint with acrylic silver paint to give it a weathered steel appearance. Led lights were installed in the legs, chest arms, and and eyes. The eyes are remote controled on/off from switches in the handle of the sword. Leg and arm led are ran by coin 2232 battery packs.
