Dalek Costume

My son loves Dr Who! In his Autistic mind he memorizes every episode and it's name. He loves the Daleks! So I made him into one. I started with a trash can, used saw to cut out bottom, drilled holes for the straps, plunger, whisk. Now the top was tricky, I put a black withches hat as the base for dalek head. I glued with gorilla glue the top of trash can to the lid. I glued slurpee cup lids with battery operated tealight )multicolored) and a glow wand attached with black duct tape,I used self adhessive black felt for the dalek spots. I attached three Velcro tethers that went from the sides and back of the lid hat because it was top heavy. Once I added the tethers it feels secure.
