This homemade costume for kids entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jackson, the 'Dancing Oven' costume creator:
Jackson is a silly and fun loving Kindergartener. He had an original idea for coordinating family costumes. He wanted to be an oven- exactly like the one in our kitchen. Mommy and baby Carter will escort him around the neighborhood trick-or-treating. Mommy will be a chef, and 1 year old Carter will be a gingerbread man. Daddy will be what he always is - comfy man. He will stay home and pass out candy. The oven is made mainly from recycled cardboard boxes and lots and lots of duct tape. Since Jackson's favorite food is cheesy spaghetti, it only seemed appropriate to make him a toboggan complete with lots of noodles, sauce, and meatballs. He also takes a lot of his inspiration from his favorite music artist, Weird Al. Dare to be stupid.
