Daphne Blake Costume

I was a HUGE fan of Scooby Doo as a child. You don't know how excited I was years later when my kids became infatuated with the cartoon as well! One day while watching the show together my son said, "Mom, you should be Daphne for Halloween." Well my initial thought was that it would be tough to create the costume; but after a bit of work, I had a legit costume! The overall cost was around $150. The costume centered around a fantastic orange wig I found on Etsy from KekeWigs for $96.75. It was the most expensive piece of the costume but well worth the investment because it was high quality and the perfect color. The lime green scarf was $25.97 on Etsy from FittingAndProper. I found leather shoes at Goodwill for $1.49 and purchased paint for $5.95 from angelusdirect. The purple dress was found on ebay for $9.99 and modified with $2 ribbon from JoAnn's. It was so much fun being Daphne for Halloween! She looks nothing like me so I loved the transformation!
