This homemade costume for boys entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kaleen, the 'Dark Samus' costume creator:
Julian is 7 years old and loves to play Smash Brothers. He wanted to be Dark Samus for Halloween. We started building it in May and it is made out of EVA foam. It took a lot of trial and error but it was a lot of fun to create. Patterns for the foam were made with tin foil and duct tape.
