Dark Squad Costume

Come to the Dark Squad!

-Suicide Squad and Star Wars Costume Mashup!

My boyfriend and I are wearing a DIY Joker/Han Solo and Harley Quinn/Princess Leia costume mashup.

I got the inspiration from the movie Suicide Squad and wanted to put a twist to it and do a mashup with Star Wars (mostly so I could have a lightsaber!). I've always wanted to do Star Wars and my hair was long enough to have Princess Leia buns!

ALL of our costume was either found in a thrift store and NOT bought from a pricey costume shop:
-Han Solo/Joker Costume: long sleeve found at a thrift store, for the vest I cut up one of his old shirts. The only thing bought was green hair spray and bought the lightsabers from amazon.
-Princess Leia/HQ Costume: shirt, shorts, sheet (for dress), and shoes I got from the thrift store. I used red spray paint for the shirt and did a printed iron-on for the "Daddy's Lil Monster". For the shorts, they were already sequenced and black so I just spray painted them red and blue. The "Puddin" choker I used a gold card-stock type paper to cut out the letters and glue gunned it to a choker. The shoes I painted with white designs like Harley Quinn's shoes in Suicide Squad. For the Princess Lei skirt, I bought a white sheet from a thrift store and cut slits in it.
