Dark Angel Costume

This is my daughter Kaydence Lanae, she is 8.5 years old. She wanted to be something scary with wings.. We took a black dress she had and removed the few accessories attached and left it plain. She had a pair of black yoga pants and plain black long sleeve cotton from her ever day clothing we used underneath for warmth. She wore her black boots she already owned. And don't some white beads from her toy box we found last min. Her hair top accessory was made from one of her headbands and we bought 1/2 yard of black and white toul and cut it into long strip and tied each strip in a knot around the top of headband and it was done. The wings were made from 1yard of charcoal grey toul stretched around and tied to four wire hangers, two used for each wing after we shaped them out and connected them together. The face makeup was purchased for 2$ at the store. We lightly smeared the white all over her face and neck then took the black barely dabbing it very lightly on her eye lids and all around her eyes and few spots here and there on her face smudging it to cause a "dead complection".. Lastly I applied some eye liner and mascara and used the eye liner pencil to doodle little scars/stiches in couple areas of face and neck. Also used the eyeliner as lipstick and it lasted thru eating, drinking, etc for the entire night.
