This homemade costume for pets entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Yvette, the 'Darth Purr' costume creator:
Emerson's costume is Darth Vader as I'm a big Star Wars fan! As I knew Emerson wouldn't like to wear a store-bought costume, I elected to make him one. His cape was made from a yard of black fabric sewn in half, black felt cut in 2 halves were sewn together for his helmet & black ribbon & Velcro attached to hold in place. For background, hot glued couple hundred stars onto tabletop cover, & cut quarter fabric panels into 12" strips to tie & loop onto string as a banner. I added light saber, Darth Vader plushie & Darth Vader basket as props.
