This homemade costume for men entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kailas, the 'Dead man in a box' costume creator:
My name is Kailas and I'm the one wearing the costume. This is the first time ever I have celebrated Halloween and first time worn a costume.
This costume is entirely made from scratch by me. And the best part is, the entire look just cost me under $15. Yaayy!!!
I got this idea while searching online for some diy costumes (due to budget issues I didn't want to purchase one ) I wanted to wear it to my friends Halloween party.
The materials used to assemble this are below
1. Large box in which I could comfortably get in . Coats $1.5 at Walmart
2. A mask for the scary person carrying the box . Cost $5 at Walmart
3. Zip ties to fix the box and dummy , costs $1
4. Face makeup for myself costs $3 at Walmart
5. Old hoodie and shirt for dummy
6. Lots of waste platic bags, papers or bubble wrap
7. Clothes hanger for the dummy's shoulder
8. Wire mash for the dummy's body , this one will provide support once we attach the box to dummy using zip ties.
