This homemade costume for boys entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kim, the 'Deadmau5' costume creator:
Jake Suraba is wearing the Deadmau5 head made by him and his dad. Dubstep is Jake's favorite music so he wanted to go as his favotite artist Deadmau5 for Halloween. He and his dad made the costume as a project together. They used a large hamster ball covered with foam for the head. They attached ears made from plastic also covered in foam. The head and ears were then covered in shiny silver fabric. A aryclic light fixture cover was cut to make both eyes. Blue leds were used to make the eyes light up at night.
