Dearly Re-Departed Zombie Couple Costume

My boyfriend, Sean, and I are zombie fans- and we just couldn't resist. Mimicking is the best form of flattery/support, right!? It took me a total of 3 hrs for each look (including making the masks). The night before, I made Sean's mask using liquid latex, toilet paper, and fake toenails as teeth. I made sure to first prep his skin with almond oil so the liquid latex would be easier to remove once the mask was dry. I layered liquid latex and toilet paper until the mask was thick enough to hold the shape on its own and I added the press on toenails as teeth. I left it to dry completely over night and in the morning used a mixture of red/black/orange/yellow acrylic paint to make it more realistic. On the day of, I layered more latex and toilet paper on his face and once it was dry, I cut and separated it off his face for the skin flap look. I layered more latex and paper, then attached the mask. Once true latex was dry, I added more acrylic and fake blood for the look. I then added some contouring makeup an TADA!!
