This homemade costume for boys entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Nia, the 'Dental Surgeon' costume creator:
Inspiration was for my 4yr old to look creative while also wearing PPE.
Overall it took 4hours to create this Halloween costum. The white material came from a local store in down town la garment district, it was $7 a yard. I only needed 2yards. The aqua green material comes from the same place in a local store in down town la, it cost $3 a yards. I had got one yard of the aqua green cotton material. I used the current clothes he wears to size his pants and shirt. Then for the white coat I size a current hoodie he wears then extended the length. I had added elastic to his pants so they could fit him correctly. I sewed with black thread that cost $5. Custom iron on patch comes from eBay for $3 also with magnifying glasses $15 from eBay for props.
