Disney Villains - The Evil Queen and Maleficent Costume

The idea came to me after visiting Disney World this past summer! Both the Malificant and Evil Queen costumes were primarily home made! For the Evil Queen a Dracula cape was used as a base to create the collar, then using fabric from a frabric store the collar. For the crown a gold shimmer material was used to create it and pearls were used to decorate it. The purple dress was ordered off of amazon and then a purple silk material was used and attached to create the “draped” arm affect. A red rope was tied around the waist and to finish it off an apple of course! The Malificant costume is was made using a mixture of purchased and homemade aspects as well! For the staff a long stick found outside was used. Then a gem was attached to the top as well as Malificants crow! A dress from home was used and a black cape was used. The horns were created by taking apart to seperate ones and combining them together.
