Doc Ock Costume

My 10 year son Liam is wearing the costume. He needed a costume that would fit his size. I started to look online “Pinterest” looking for do it yourself costume for plus size kids. I wanted my son to feel comfortable and be himself. I saw an idea of Doc Ock and told my husband we could so do this. So we went to Home Depot got two 3 inch by 8 ft long dryer tubes, gray spray paint, then we went to harbor freight to get welding goggles and used tissue paper and foam for the claws. My husband then wired red led batteries to a 9 volt battery to a switch so his claws would light on and off. We then put pool noodles inside the dryer tubes fit it to the inside of a backpack so it would fit snuggly and sit upward. We found a long brown cape and pants from a thrift store and he wore his black snow boots to complete the look.
