A word from Jennifer, the 'Doctors Who' costume creator:
I had to do it. I love Doctor Who and why not? Besides I think the japanese chin bares a slight resemblance to the current Doctor. My dogs, Kobe and Lola love the attention they get in costumes. The Doctor #4 wears a brown overcoat over mismatched plaid shirt and vest, complete with an orange cravat tie. Add in the scarf, the the lush hair peeking out of the hat and she's a dead ringer for Tom Baker too.
Doctor #11 wears a Fez, because "Fezzes are cool", a sigature bow tie and striped shirt under his plaid blazer.
The fez was created from the bottom half of a jewelry box covered in felt. #4's hat was an American Girl doll hat that I heated and reshaped. The hair is a trimmed hair piece that is held in place by the top half of the fez box.
The TARDIS was created from a 1960s baby buggy and had a lashing light in front (not seen in the photos). The image was hand drawn onto blue cardboard. The buggy was lined with matching blue fleece and was of course "bigger on the inside".
