This homemade costume for kids entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Krystin, the 'Edward Scissorhands and Dinosaur topiary' costume creator:
2 kids are wearing the costumes. These are homemade! The dinosaur topiary is made with boxwood pieces hot glued to clothing. Thin winter gloves are used for the hands and a tree mask was used for the head. Lots of hot glue and lots of zip ties!
For Edward- leather pants and jacket. Buckles upon buckles and belts. A wig, face makeup! The scissorhands were carved from wood and carefully painted then connected to costume gloves
