Edward Scissorhands and T-Rex Shrub Costume

This is my husband & I. My husbands costume is completely hand made. It’s base is a pair of work coveralls, work gloves, a body pillow, lots of good ol’ hot glue, Dollarama found topiary balls that we dissected & hand cut for workable flat pieces & fabric spray paint. His head is a large TRex foam-like mask we found at Walmart that we spray painted & glued the topiary pcs. to, to cover it completely. My costume base is the deluxe Edward costume found on amazon, a men’s dress shirt, dress pants (came in too large) & a pair of suspenders. I completely redid the store bought costume scissor hands to reinforce & add more design elements to them. I had a friend do my make-up, I bought larger sized dark brown contacts & teased my hair to complete the look. We won the Best Couple Costume prize at the Halloween Bash we went to & ppl. couldn’t get enough of us! My husband took a ton of pictures & I gave a lot of “free haircuts” that night!
