This homemade costume for babies entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Olivia, the 'Edward Scissorhands' costume creator:
My son Edward (Eddie) is 4 months old, so this is his first Halloween! I dressed him up as Edward Scissorhands!!! I love the movie since I grew up with that movie as a Halloween classic and it is a great play off of his name. Edward is named after his great grandfather, who is a World War II hero.
The costume is hilarious!! I found the clothing at a baby store, and ordered the wig online. But, I handmade the Scissorhands by cutting out felt pieces and sewing them onto baby mittens. This was after my mom made sure to tell me "not to put scissors on a baby"....thanks mom (seriously?).
