Edward Scissorhands Costume

This is the homemade Edward Scissorhands costume that I made for my 9 year old son. I purchased black pants and a black turtle neck at a second hand store for $3.00 as well as an assortment of studded belts for between $0.50 to $3 each. When I couldn't find anymore studded belts, I used black belts and silver thumb tacks to do the rest of the job. For the scissor hands, I used plastic knives and spray painted them silver. I used bandaids to hold the knives onto his fingers and covered his hands with black gloves, putting holes at the tips of the fingers for the knives to go through. Add some black hair spray and a little bit of make up, and you have an amazing Edward Scissorhands costume for less than $15.
