King Tut's Mummy, Anubis, Isis, and Bast
Costume type: | Costumes for Families |
Category: |
This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Stacey, the 'Egyptian Family' costume creator:
My husband is the mummy of King Tut, I am Anubis, my oldest daughter, Theresa, is the winged goddess Isis, and my youngest daughter, Tabitha, is the cat goddess Bast on her throne. These costumes were made using a range of techniques from paper mache, to fabricating and molding original pieces out of hot glue, dying, sewing, and painting. Majority of the supplies needed were things I already had around the house, so I only had to spend 30$ for additional materials (15$ of which was just for my daughter's wig!).
