This homemade costume for families entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jessica, the 'Egyptian Family' costume creator:
Pharaoh, King Tut, and Egyptian Gods & Godesses: Isis, Anubis, Bestet, and Horus
Most of the costumes were handmade. I made the masks and chest plates out of leather and painted them with acrylic paint.. Many of the costume pieces I sewed and a few things I bought or reused, like Pharaoh's skirt and my (Isis') wings. I made Isis' headpiece out of sculpting foam and a styrofoam ball. Many of the gold neck pieces and belts were made out of fake leather and spray painted gold.
