This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Haley, the 'Elf on the Shelf' costume creator:
My daughter loves christmas even more now bc thats the time her elf comes back to visit her and her brothers so we decided for halloween to dress her as her elf LUCY :) her costume is 100%homemade her shelf is made of foam board we cut it to fit her body and hotglued it together then painted it brown to look like wood, the fire place is made of black material and color felt glued to look like fire. she wore black pants and shes to hide behind the fire. her outfit is a red sweat suit the legs have been stuffed to look more real and then velcrowed to the shelf
