This homemade costume for couples entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Debbie, the 'Empty Nesters' costume creator:
Our 4th daughter left for college this year, so our "empty nest" was the inspiration behind our Halloween costume. In the cracked eggs (paper mache balloons) we put the years of our daughters in college. Everyone loved this costume because they were either empty nesters already, future empty nesters, or as one lady told me "I wanna be an empty nester but my children came back".
