This homemade costume for families entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kira, the 'Fairy Garden' costume creator:
I got the idea after my daughter had a fairy garden birthday party. I knew my youngest would be a cute gnome and coordinated the rest. He fell asleep in the fairy garden wagon which made it even cuter.
The sitting gnome costume was the most difficult to make. We ran a wire through two pool noodles to make the base. Then we put red felt on top and white fabric on bottom sewing together and stuffing with newspaper. Suspenders helped hold the whole thing up.
