This homemade costume for women entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amelia, the 'Fake News' costume creator:
I decided on a Fake News costume this year. I didn't want to get too political, but I wanted to make light of it, in the current climate. I tried to include a bit of everything! Politics, celebrity gossip, fake health and beauty tips, and even made up some about my friends and coworkers. I wrote one about me having an affair with Johnny Depp. Or is that one real??
Materials:
Black skirt from Goodwill- $7
Printer, paper and ink-$30 if you already have printer
Super glue or hot glue gun (I used both)- $20
Dispair when you pull your beloved costume over your butt and it rips- priceless
