This homemade costume for families entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lauren, the 'Family Band with Accordion Baby' costume creator:
We dressed up as a family band! Our baby boy was an accordion. I decided he should be comfortable in his costume so I built a costume around his baby front-pack that I often carry him around in. I made the shell of the accordion out of cardboard, foamboard, decorative red/white paper, paint, string, and duct-tape. It was cheap to make and with a bit of artistic finesse, ended up looking pretty close to the real thing.
