This homemade costume for babies entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Deana, the 'Farmer and Baby Chick' costume creator:
The costume idea came from wanting to show a comparison picture of weeks in utero and weeks out. I, Deana am representing a farmer with basic overalls and a scarf on my head. My daughter, Adalyn is the baby chick that has hatched. The chick costume is a baby bjorn carrier wrapped with white construction paper with zig zag top representing broken egg. The top egg was put on top of a yellow knitted bonnet. Baby wore yellow tights, yellow socks, yellow onsie, yellow knitted sweater and bonnet.
