A word from Amy, the 'Fidget Spinner' costume creator:
My daughter Caylin is wearing the costume. I came up with the idea of creating a fidget spinner costume because my daughter loves playing with them. To make the costume, first I drew and cut the design out of cardboard, then painted it. Next I used liquid nails to attach the lazy susan to the center of the back side of the cut out.I then cut a rectangular piece of cardboard, painted it and taped the straps to go over the head and tie around the waist. Last step was to attach Velcro to the back side of the fidget spinner and front side of the rectangular cutout with straps to hold it up so that it could spin. The materials used were cardboard, lazy susan, liquid nail, gorilla tape, paint, Velcro, and straps. The cost to make it was $12.00.
