This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Brittany, the 'Firealarm' costume creator:

My son Granderson wanted to be a fire alarm for Halloween. The costume is made from a cardboard box, spray painted red, and has a flashlight on the outside that strobes to simulate the alarm going off. My son has autism and is obsessed with fire alarms. He even knows all the make and model numbers! I love being able to bring his creative ideas to life!

I really thought my son was the only one! I've made him a simplex true alert remote horn strobe costume for Halloween a couple years ago. And he wants his 10th birthday party to be fire alarm related. I never knew there was a little fire alarm tribe with kids! Thank you for letting me know we aren't alone in this.
