This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Bonnie, the 'Flamingo' costume creator:
My four year daughter is in love with flamingos. I thought this would be a perfect costume for my girly girl and something different than the disney princess costumes she usually chooses. I made it two pieces. The top is made from a kids apron with feathers and felt pieces glued on. I used an elastic crochet band for neck and waistband. The skirt is made from pink tulle and feather boas. This project took about two hours and cost about $20.
