This homemade costume for girls entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Anne, the 'Flamingo' costume creator:
Hailey is a competitive skater but Covid shut down the skating season right as she got her dress for competitions. We couldn't let it go to waste. We added some tulle and feather boas to the back to create a flamingo butt, painted a dollar store bird beak to look like a flamingo, used pink tights and skating boot covers for her feet and legs, and added a feathered head band. Best of all, it's a Covid friendly costume with mask incorporated right into the costume
