This homemade costume for women entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Brittany, the 'Florida Grandma' costume creator:
I am Brittany Stevenson and I am 30 years old. I work at a call center with more of a younger crowd and I wanted to stand out, so I dressed up with my Velcro New Balance’s, brightly colored floral shirt and decorative striped pink shorts. I am also fully equipped with my life alert necklace and lottery tickets. I made sure to buy a wig and color my eyebrows with a white eye liner pencil. I even went grocery shopping and fooled people! I made this costume for $34 from the American Thrift Store and it was the BEST costume I have made.
