Flying Monkey Baby Costume

My son, Oliver, is wearing his Wizard of Oz, Flying Monkey costume. My family costume theme for Halloween 2015 was Wizard of Oz. I purchased the monkey costume from Target. The blue shirt for the vest was purchased from GoodWill. The felt was purchased at Michaels. I designed the shirt using movie references, cut the felt and altered shirt for fit and hot glued the felt to the shirt. I used the plastic soup container from an order of Chinese food delivery to make the hat. I used left over material from alterations to the blue shirt for fit as the base of the hat, using the felt I hot glued a design to the soup container mirroring the shirt design. The wings came from Oriental Trading Company. I used double sided velcro and hot glue to make the wings easily removable for transport and play.
