This homemade costume for boys entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Courtney, the 'FNAF Bonnie' costume creator:
My son, Evan (age 15), is wearing the FNAF Bonnie costume. Evan got
the idea for the costume because he is a "Five Nights at Freddy's" fan
and he likes a good challenge. He began making the costume in June
and worked on it consistently over the next 4 months. The costume
head is made out of pizza boxes, foam and a few bolts to allow for a
fully functional opening mouth. Inside the mouth is teeth made out of
both cardboard and hollowed out clay. The head also includes eyes
made out of sphere shaped Christmas ornaments and ears that are
attached with springs so that they bounce when he walks. The
costume body is made out of foam and the entire thing is covered in purple felt that was hot glued to the foam. Evan felt that this project was fun, frustrating, and rewarding. Unfortunately, it rained on Halloween where we live so he didn’t get a chance to show off his creation in public. He is hoping it will still fit him next year.
