Fortune Teller Costume

This costume was made for my 10 year old daughter Natalie. She always comes up with the greatest ideas and I try to make them a reality. This year she said that she wanted to be a fortune teller that was able to had out fortunes. After some thought I knew her hands need to be free so I grabbed and box - hot glue - duct tape - a book bag. I cut the box to look like a fortune teller machine. Next I painted it. I then sized a cut in half book bag to the back so she was able to wear the entire box. Added lights and the details and a great costume cam to life. She had a crystal ball - playing cards - and handed out fortunes.
