Frost the Carousel Horse Costume

Frost is a nearly 15 year old Australian Cattle dog who is always game for Halloween! This year I decided to do a carousel "horse" costume for her. It is a 100% handmade with my leather work skills coming in handy with making the saddle, breastplate, and rump plate, as well as the bridle. The pole is made with gold wrapped pipe insulation with a dowel inside to connect the foam ball on the top. The saddle blanket is velvet lined with hand sewn on plastic peppermints. The brindle has a bridle plume of green and gold feathers.
