Frozen Family Costume

Natalie is standing atop frozen staircase as Elsa. Naomi is sunning on the sand as Olaf. Those are our daughters. My wife Tricia is wearing princess Anna's winter gown. Grandma came along as Christoff for support. I am standing inside the ice monster. (Marshmallow). Monster is made with PVC frame wrapped in chicken wire to support quilting batting. Base of legs are made from concrete tube forms. Monster arms animated by fishing string and dowel rods. Legs are animated by lashing them to my legs with velcro strapping. Staircase is made from acrylic sheets. Umbrella is painted foamcore pieces and cardboard. I push them on cart which has handle on rear both for pushing and for operating dowels. Cart is plywood with pneumatic casters. I posted a picture of the drawing Natalie gave me early in the year. It is what she wanted me to make for our neighborhood Halloween party. That was the start of this journey.
