"Fur"maid Costume

Splash, a six year old Border Collie from MI is dressed up as a Mermaid—er Furmaid. My dog LOVES to swim so a friend of mine nick named her a fur-fish. This idea came to me by looking at fish tank costumes for kids on this site. Thus the idea was generated for our costume. The Tank is made from a heavy cardboard box and lots of black Duct tape. The mermaid, stuffed fish, and Dory were purchased at thrift stores. The skeleton fish was purchased new for sound effects of bubbles and it’s eyes light up for effect. The rocks for the for gravel came from my back yard. The wagon it sits on is an old laundry cart.
