This homemade costume for babies entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Taylor, the 'Gizmo Baby' costume creator:
We dressed my son Jeffrey up like Gizmo from the movie Gremlins!
He made noises in his sleep that sounded like the gremlins so I started calling him Gizy-mo and that is where I came up with the idea.
- We bought a brown fur winter body suit
- Cut out patches of white fur and sewed them on
- We used beige/light brown felt for the ears and feet
- Cut out the ear shape and stuffed them a little so that they would stay up and cut out feet as well
- We sewed the ears to the hood and feet the top of the footed part of the body suit!
