This homemade costume for groups entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Charlotte, the 'Golden Girls' costume creator:
My four lovely children have always done family themes for Halloween, however the older they get the harder it has been to come up with an idea for the whole family to love. So we to inspiration from a poster hanging on the room wall of my 16 and 12 year old sons wall a family favorite, The golden girls!
Blanche is my 12 year old son Jackson using his own wonderful hair for inspiration to be her.
Dorothy is my 16 year old son Carter we used his 6ft 1 height as inspiration for his choice in character. Rose is my 12 year old daughter Kennedy using her wonderful personality similar to Rose's. Last but not least we have our 2 year old son Hayes as Sophia of course because he's the smallest cutest and runs the older ones.
We used thrift shops and had fun choosing what would fit the kids interesting personalities while matching to characters.
