This homemade costume for boys entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jessica, the 'Goomba' costume creator:
This was my five year old son’s costume dream! He insisted that he wanted to be the “muffin” from MARIO brothers. I searched everywhere for a Goomba costume but could only find Mario, Luigi, Yoshi. Because I couldn’t find what he wanted, we had to go all out and make it. We used 2 inch foam, spray adhesive, brown felt, white felt, black felt, cream fabric, hot glue, black fuzzy wire, an exacto knife to cut the foam. It was a process and overall the cost was about $125.
