This homemade costume for girls entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Virginia, the 'Granny from The Beverly Hillbillies' costume creator:
We chose Granny for our Grandaughter because she reminds us so much of her. Jaidyn is small for her age of 6 but she is strong, and feisty! We bought her some black combat style boots online. We bought her pioneer dress but I had to alter it to fit her. We bought maple syrup that came in a jug resembling Granny's whiskey jug and added three large X's. We had antique little round glasses that were perfect for the Granny look! She borrowed her brothers toy pop gun to complete her costume.
