3-RBOT Costume (Reduce, ReUse, Recycle)

My husband made this costume from all recycled materials. The feet are baby wipe boxes painted red, the legs are dryer flexible hoses, the body is old boxes turned inside out and painted, the head is a smaller box reversed and painted with magnets holding it attached for easy on and off, the eyes are plastic Easter eggs, the mouth is actually screen cut where he could see out and breathe and you couldn't see in, the ears or bots on the side of the head are plastic fruit cup containers painted, and the arms are more dryer vents, the hands are boxing gloves. The eyes, ears and light on top actually light up using battery operated tea lights. The chest plate is a front grill off of a plastic toy truck, with green soda bottle plastic as the glass. This too lights up using a strobe light setting on a tea light. The Ray gun in his hand is a vintage toy gun from the early 1960's. This costume has been a huge hit! It also displayed well for his birthday party too!
