This homemade costume for pets entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amy, the 'Basset Ballerinas' costume creator:
Our basset hounds Molly (age 5) and Maggie (age 3) are dressed as beautiful ballerinas. They enjoy practicing their tricks, especially sitting pretty, for treats so we thought they would be good ballerinas. Their costumes were pieced together and accessorized down to the pink polish.
