This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kim, the 'Beautiful Butterfly' costume creator:
My Bridget and I visited two different butterfly exhibits over the summer, so she picked to be a butterfly! She chose the colors and order that they appear in her wings,and also helped paint a little bit! We used black jersey fabric, chalk to get a pattern, doll rods, and acrylic paint for the wings, and felt and hot glue for the headband. She was beautiful!!!! This was, by far, my favorite costume that I've ever made!!!!
