Captain Crunch and the Cereal Bunch Costume

Another homemade costume for our dog Mr. Utley. Lots of craft felt was used to make his hat and coat. The Toucan Sam costume utilized lots of craft felt too to make the wings and all the feathers. The beak was made cutting down a skinny milk jug container and then painting it and adding an elastic strap to secure it to my face. The Tony the Tiger mask was a plastic Pokeman Mask altered with masking tape and then painted and felt added along with whiskers. I bought a XXL orange onsie pajamas for Tony's body and sewed on a white belly and painted on the stripes. All our feet where more felt sewn with elastics. The actual cereal boxes were supplied by the grocery store. The only store bought costume was the Trix rabbit...because I just ran out of time after making the other three outfits!
