Cutest Monkey Baby Costume

We couldnt decide which was cuter, so Alayna, 2, has worn all of them! Why not, right?! There are so many events this time of year..

***Alayna went to boo at the zoo and she got to wear her monkey costume, and she got a lot of attention! She loves to do "monkey crawl" around the side of the pool, and I always call her my little monkey (lately, it is.a little too fitting with her new trick of climbing out of her crib :/ yikes!), so of course we had to wear it! We took her by the real monkeys and she was loving making all the " oohh, oohh, aahh aahh " monkeys noises! And being that we are in south Florida, where fall still means 80+ degrees out, she was quite the trooper with this costume! She loved that there was a banana in her pocket.. I loved the curly tail sown on the back! And the mitten hand covers were quite comical when she went to eat her snack! She tried picking up her food then looked at me with a cute smile and said "silly mommy, forgot to take out my hands!" Ha! And she was right, I did! .. she even tried climbing trees in her suit, only thing I would like to still attempt in it is to have her wear it in the pool while doing "monkey crawl" around the edge! (Or have her wear it and catch her climbing out of her crib.. hmmm :/ maybe I shouldn't encourage the naughty monkey!)

Best part is.. all of these costumes cost me a total of $5! Two are hand me downs from my niece. And one was bought on clearance last year :) She is enjoying all the events we have gotten to play dress up for.. and of course, the candy!!!
