ET and Elliott Costume

My husband Chris is dressed up as Elliott, ET's best friend. All his costume took was a red hoodie zip up! For my costume, we cut the bottom out of a laundry basket and spray painted it gray. We then zip tied paint brush rollers as the handles to the basket, and looped rope around so that it could rest on my shoulders. I cut up a blanket to wrap around myself, and used some make up to do some facial wrinkles. I found the light up finger online for only $2.50! This costume cost around $30 and was a hit! I've liked this movie since I was little, so it was fun to reenact!
