The Flash and Green Lantern Superheroes Costume

I'm just a comic book nerd who loves his kids. We sat down with some comic books and they choose their superheroes. Ben likes the Green Lantern and Stone fancies himself as the Flash. Now, I'm not a seamstress by any stretch, so I pulled out their footsie pajamas and used them as a sizing pattern and borrowed my mother-in-law's sewing machine. I went to the fabric store and those kind folks helped a novice with all my needs. I learned how to sew by putting these costumes together. I really enjoyed getting them their first pairs of Converse sneakers to complete their costumes.
