Ghosts from Darkness Costume

Last year my sister and I dressed up several kids as zombies. We posed for a scene on our town square attacking a 50s girl that was being saved by Siamese super heroes. This year the my daughter and her friends wanted to all dress similar. So we kicked around a few ideas and I suggested ghosts. They were all on board. I constructed 3 of the dresses by tying ripped material to elastic. The other 2 were constructed by mixing different dresses, prom and night gowns. I teased their hair so it would be big and added white spray to their hair line to blend with the makeup on the face. I then used white costume pant to cover any skin that would be visible. I patted white powder to keep the makeup from smearing. Then I blended black and silver makeup around the eyes. I think with everything that was bought for all 5 costumes and makeup I spent less than $50.
